| - Here's an update to my review of Premier Auto on 2/26/2015. Apparently, Yelp is in bed with the companies that are reviewed on their website! Why else would they 'not recommend' my review and remove it from the main reviews of Premier Auto? Oh, could it by any chance be because Premier Auto pays Yelp to silence negative reviews? Yelp is nothing more than a mafia type of scam! As long as companies pay Yelp the 'protection money', Yelp will make them look good and silence critics! Google Yelp's businesss practices and you'll see what I mean! They can be bought and that's how Yelp makes their money! So much for honest reviews! By the way, I wonder how long it will take for this review to make it to their poop list! Anyway, I am a Technical Writer by profession and pride myself in being able to write coherently and concisely, free of spelling and grammar errors. So they can't say my written review wasn't clear or accurate! So what exactly qualifies my previous review as 'not recommended'? You might want to ask Yelp because I simply don't know! But good luck getting a legitimate answer! Regardless, I'm updating my previous review to provide readers with an update on the issue. First of all, I felt it was necessary to provide a little background on myself so readers realize I'm legit and not just some crazy loser with a chip on his shoulder. Anyway, I am a decorated combat veteran of the United States Army who served 2 years in South Korea near the DMZ and a 13 month combat tour in Iraq. During my military service, I received numerous awards and ribbons, including the Combat Action Badge, The Army Commendation Medal, the Iraq Campaign Ribbon, the Army Achievement Medal (twice), and many more. After my military service, I earned numerous IT certifications from CompTIA and Microsoft, and I also earned a Bachelor's degree (B.S.) in Business Administration with a specialization in Technical Communication from DeVry University. So not only have I honorably served my country, but I'm also educated! So for Yelp to try to discredit me is despicable! Shame on Yelp! And for those that care to know, I am also a Christian. Anyway, my updated review includes recent information that wasn't in my previous review. When Bell Tire and Auto was done with my vehicle, they found the following: When Premier Auto replaced the bearing hub, they made a few mistakes. First of all, according to the senior mechanic at Bell Tire and Auto, they used a cheap and questionable replacement for the bearing hub. Yet the higher quality bearing hub installed by Bell Tire and Auto was cheaper! Secondly, when Premier Auto either removed or replaced the bearing hub, they irreversibly damaged the spindle and frayed the ridges on it beyond repair. Not only that, but they didn't use the correct size bolts when assembling it. And instead of replacing the bolts they had with ones of the correct size, they just filed down the ones they had and apparently felt that was good enough and quality standard work! Also, when Bell Tire and Auto checked the bearing hub after Premier Auto installed it, they found that it was loose! Anyone who knows a little about cars can tell you what could have happened if it eventually fell off while I was driving the vehicle! And I have pictures of this to prove my claims! When I took my vehicle to Bell Tire and Auto to get it done right, it cost me an additional $1,360.32! People please, do not take your vehicle to Premier Auto! If you do, you have been warned....
