  • Ohhhhhh Calgary Farmers Market - How I wish you were in Edmonton?!?!? If you're anywhere near the Southside of Calgary- or for that matter, anywhere south of Edmonton, this is a fantastic market, filled with friendly vendors, a great selection of fresh food and plenty of options for lunch as well. I appreciated that there was plenty of room - both outside (for parking) and inside for meandering around and avoiding strollers. There is a also wonderful variety of food - We picked up fresh fish, crab cakes, chocolate, tomatoes, spices, fresh pasta and.... just so they didn't feel left out....some dog treats too. And the best part yet is that the hours aren't limited to Saturday mornings. Hoooray! I've been to markets across the US, Canada, and Brazil, and this one is near the top of the list - Don't take it for granted, Calgary - Some of us are just a teensy weensy bit jealous :)
