  • We stayed here because we read Hemingway stayed here (about 90 years ago). It was not so great then and it's worse now. There wasn't much sound insulation to the next room and the room itself is not so great. The whole atmosphere is sketchy. Toronto is one of the best cities in North America, for a place to stay, you can do much better than we did! If you are interested in writing, you can stop by to just see. And if you are a cultural adventurer, it's an adventure.
