After the barber that I had been religiously using for the last two years just unexpectedly vanished and sold their business, I was forced to find a new place. Generally, I hate this process, but somehow managed to strike gold fairly easily for once.
While scanning through various options in the neighborhood, I decided to take a risk and go with someone brand new. As of March 2017, this is a one-man operation ran by a gentleman named Stan. Upon first visiting, he had only been open for a matter of days. We chatted for awhile and he is a geniuinely nice guy who clearly knows the craft quite well.
I can't speak about fades and trendy cuts, but I can attest that Stan does know how to cut a classic pompadour with great precision and skill. After explaining to him what I wanted, he knew immediately how to approach things and left me with a great result.
I'd imagine that as business picks up, he'll be hiring more people. And the fact that they're open on Sundays will make my four-week maintenance trims less of a burden to schedule.
Highly recommended!
