  • I was looking for a brunch place on yelp and of course, L'Avenue was the first place that popped up. After reading a couple reviews, I decided to try it despite all the comments about the long wait time and I'm so glad I did! Yes, the wait was long. I think I waited about 45-50 minutes. The menu has a variety of choices of sweet and savoury foods, or even both for the indecisive (like myself)! You get the best of both worlds :). I got scrambled eggs, bacon, potatoes, and Nutella French Toast. Everything was delicious; so full of flavour - including the watermelon infused water! The portions were huge and you can definitely share with a friend. Even the drinks were oversized! The servers were friendly and the prices are very reasonable. I can't wait to go back to Montreal so I can have brunch here again! I would highly recommend this place. And check out the bathroom!
