| - I had a great experience at this store!
I happened to have visited this location during the Jazz festival (and during its peak business hours), so the store was pretty crammed with people. I'm a big Starbucks card collector and this store was the only one that carried the new Quebec cards (as well as all three Canada "You Are Here" mugs), so I really wanted to pick up six. I had a relatively complicated transaction that took some time, but the girl at the register put her best effort into keeping the mood light. I appreciated that.
THIS IS A SHOUTOUT TO T-DAWG THOMAS. This guy right here MADE my entire vacation experience worth it. If you see my other reviews, you'll notice I'm a Starbucks-a-holic, partly due to me being a U.S. starbucks partner. He was extra friendly despite the fact that he was tired, made small conversation for a while, and upon hearing that my boyfriend and I were US partners, called out his team to tell them we were "family from the U.S." He went further by asking us what it's like working in our cities (Honolulu and Boston), told us his work story, and topped it off with "Well I'd hug you guys but my apron is covered with (gestures to syrup stains) but you guys know all about that" and a loud goodbye. BEST. CUSTOMER CONNECTION. I'VE EVER SEEN. Thanks again, Thomas!
