  • Walking up to Market Street Grocery can briefly transport you another place. The grand structure with big windows sits on a small side street off of bustling Market Square. In the summer, bright blue tables and chairs line the sidewalk. This afternoon the scene struck me as very French! That vibe continues on the inside with a La Colombe coffee bar and Gaby et Jules macaron counter. You can build a great lunch from the cold food case, which is priced by weight. I don't purchase many of their specialty grocery items, but it's nice to swing by Market Street Grocery on my lunch break if I ever need to pick up an ingredient for dinner. I've always had quick and friendly service from the staff as well.
