| - Very very disappointed.
My husband got me a massage here for my 40th birthday! I was so excited. It was a surprise, as was the party he threw for me afterwards, so I didn't know what to expect. When my husband dropped me off, he did say he got me some sort of stone massage. I used to belong to Massage Envy and I always got the hot stone massage. I suppose I was thinking it would be similar to that. He knew I loved that one best.
It's very elegant and sexy as you walk through the halls to the changing rooms. A long hallway with waterfalls was beautiful. The changing rooms were very clean and simple. As you wait for your massage, you can use the spa facilities (I didn't). In the waiting room, they have some light snacks and an assortment of teas and coffee while you wait. I LOVED the tea. I've never seen or heard of it before and I tried like 3 different kinds while I waited.
The masseure was very nice and friendly. A tiny bit too talkative but it was OK. The massage was nice but I kept waiting for the hot stone. Never happened.
There was not ONE stone during the massage. While we were talking she mentioned that since I'm local, I get a discount. When the massage was over, I told the lady at the desk, showed her my Nevada ID and she said no problem, it will be credited to bill.
Yesterday, I get the credit card statement and NO credit was given. I KNEW I should have waited for her to do it right then and there but since it was a GIFT, I didn't want to see the price and figured it would get done as said. My bad. Oh, he also paid for the upgrade for the "smelling" enhancer. They add a smell to the room and the lotion. She added it but it really didn't smell at all. At least at Massage Envy you know for sure it's in there
So, minus 1 star for telling me it was a stone massage and NO stones were used and minus 1 star for lying and minus 1 for NOT giving me discount as promised and entitled too. .
Shame on you!
