  • I brought my car a month ago for traction control issues. They ran a scan and tests that day and said "there's no issues with your car, if it happens again bring it in" a month went by and the codes went off again. Only this time cylinder 1 was misfiring and I was getting several error codes. I went back to AAMCO recently to run a diagnostic and they said it was a computer fault. That I would need a new one ($900) but they found one for $500 and with labor it would be $790. So I went and picked up my car and went to a mechanic friends shop...they ran a diagnostic and came up with the same errors. So they popped the hood and turns out the intake manifold wasn't even screwed in. It wasn't even sealed properly. We tightened the screws and aligned everything properly and now the car runs normal with no codes. Cost me $0.... great work and honest service AAMCO. I definitely would NOT recommend this place.
