  • Hrm. What to say about Frys. Well, back in the day it used to be good a few years ago. It seemed like they had people with more knowledge that knew what you needed and what you were talking about when you brought something in. Anymore that doesn't seem to be the case. I brought a part in for my computer a week ago and the foreign people they had working in the computer section didn't seem to know what I needed and it was hard to understand them because their English was off. I ended up having to go to 2 different people and then to Best Buy and Walmart just to find some of what I needed from all 3 places. After that, I decided from now on I'm just going to call to see if they have something or check online, and if they don't just order from Amazon or whatever. It was a hassle, and between the young kids who couldn't answer my questions and the foreign people who couldn't speak English right, it was really frustrating when they tried to upsell me on things I didn't even want or need before I got out the door. I was at a loss to get what I came in for and had to go other places I would have gone to sooner to save time and get my computer working again. If I can help it, I probably won't be back to Frys Electronics unless I absolutely have to go there for something. Nowadays you can order what you need online and get better prices anyway with free shipping so why not?
