  • This was our first time going to South Buffalo Springs Animal Hospital. We originally were going to a place specifically dedicated to cats, however I found that my cats were anxious and trying to fight each other every time we went to that location. It wasn't as clean and smelled like other cats were roaming around. As soon as we walked into South Buffalo, I noticed how nice and new and clean it was. I also noticed that there are two separate entries for cats and dogs. Even though they meet in the middle once you're inside there's again two separate areas for each to go. My cats were in the same carrier, were not trying to fight each other, and remained calm until the doctor came in. The only thing that concerned me was that they do not do the wellness check ups in the room that you're brought to, they actually take them to the back.. which I didn't get to go. I could hear the cats meowing and getting frustrated while back there, but nothing out of the norm. He brought them back already in the carrier. And they seem to be just fine. Usually, it takes him the rest of the day to get over the fact that I made them go there, but after this visit they were perfectly fine. This was their 8th year annual checkup and Dr. Allen made them feel comfortable coming to a new place. I'm happy this opened u close to home and would definitely recommend for cats. PS- the wellness check ups are free! Also, the girls got us in next day and I was there for about 30 minutes including check in and check out.
