| - If you want to live in a quiet, clean neighborhood with parking that is close to your home, don't live here.
Your noise level will vary depending on your neighbors. My area was mostly quiet until a new guy moved in right next to me a few months ago. On an almost daily basis I can hear and feel his music through the wall. It's so loud that it shakes my desk. I have asked him several times to quiet down, and he says he will but then he doesn't. The same guy will also stand outside my apartment door yelling into a cell phone and smoking. The smoke gets into my apartment, which is not fun. Why he can't smoke and make calls on his own patio like a normal human being is a mystery to me. The HOA has so far done nothing about any of this.
I see trash bags left out in front of apartments on a regular basis, even though there is a rule specifically stating we cannot do that. Plus, the trash bin is just a few steps away.
The parking setup is the worst of any apartment complex I have ever lived in. Whoever designed the layout of this complex did a terrible job. Our assigned spot is two buildings away from where we live. My wife and I use separate cars, and finding an open space for the second car that is anywhere near our apartment is not possible most of the time. Often I find myself having to park about eight buildings away, regardless of the time of day.
The design of the 1 bed, 1 bath, 700 square feet apartment I rent feels cramped. I wish that the kitchen didn't have a wall separating it from the living room. I have lived in apartments with similar dimensions that were more open than this one. Also, having the laundry machines out on the patio is a very strange design choice. It's not fun doing laundry in the summer heat. Why they didn't just make it part of the kitchen is beyond me.
It's not all bad though. The complex is located near a lot of stores, restaurants, and casinos. Rent is not too expensive, and so far it has not gone up. I rarely see any bugs. Most of Bella Vita's employees are friendly and helpful.
