  • Please keep in mind that although harsh, my review is based on the other 60 or so games I've played all over the world. I will be much more critical than your average tourist just looking for something fun to do. That being said... We played the VIP room and my group and I were not impressed. There was a small amount of well functioning tech involved in the room which was a plus, but it was only involved in one semi-unintuitive puzzle. The set design wasn't bad at all compared to the others in town, but still left a lot to the imagination. Staff was very nice and had a comedic tone the whole time which was good, and the intro video was very funny. The production of the video however was piss poor for a business trying to survive among all of the top notch stuff going on in the hotels. Also they need to turn on the AC. It was boiling in there. The game was mostly locks and keys, which like most escape roomers, I find gets very boring very quickly. At one point, you open something and you are given access to a LARGE amount of clues all at once. This can be overwhelming and seemed unnecessary. Also the room was absolutely littered with red herrings. There were so many laminated paper clues, it was ridiculous. There were multiple clues and items in the room that the host told us used to be part of the game but are not anymore. Small things like this really affect your ability to stay focused. You start questioning whether this next item you found is actually part of the game or not. It's these little things that the owner doesn't take the time to fix that really bother me. They want customers to continuously fork over $35 a ticket, but they won't take the 15 minutes out of their day to make sure all of the obvious clues in the room are still actually part of the game. I will go back to try more of their rooms on the off chance that this was one of their less quality experiences.
