| - Overall I enjoyed my stay at this hotel and really liked the modern styling of the rooms. The valet is on 6th street, which our GPS didn't lead us too, so once we figured that out we were good. Valet is $32/night but it's way more convenient then figuring things out if you know you're going to leave downtown to go shopping. The lobby is on the 25th floor and once you're checked in, you need your room card to access the elevators. The free breakfast wasn't that great for us, but there was also a ton of people staying at the hotel for a competition so I'm not sure if that made a difference. I read in other reviews that people's showers leaked, which did happen with mine. Our room was cleaned and towels were replaced on the weekend, but on Monday, housekeeping still hadn't come as of 3:30pm. Luckily my family is low maintenance but I have read other reviewers complain about this as well. The suites are huge, with a small kitchen area that includes a table, 3 chairs, microwave, refrigerator and sink, although the sink size is deep and small so prepare for water to splash all over you. The living area has a couch with an ottoman which was awesome, our toddler used it as her bed while we stayed. The bed in the bedroom is super comfy and the door slides shut so you can decide how much privacy you want. We got our room for a great discount, but I'm not sure I'd stay here for full price unless I really needed to be walking distance from something. You can walk anywhere downtown from this hotel and the staff has been really nice. We hit up other areas such as Mt. Washington and Lawrenceville and they were both under 15 minutes away, which makes it really easy to get around Pittsburgh
