  • Face it- Jiffy Lube is great. For a business which pretty much has the industry cornered, they go a great job at what they do. Everyone drives, and cars need oil changes. Taking it to a dealership or garage almost *ALWAYS* requires an appointment, and is usually pretty expensive. Jiffy Lube does what needs to be done in an efficient, reasonably-priced manner. You pull up, they take your car, you take a nap inside, and $40 later you have peace of mind for another 5k miles. What could be simpler?? I have to say, I'm always impressed with how friendly they are. Any Jiffy Lube that I've ever gone to, they've been really friendly. Every visit was painless and quick, and I've never been hassled or pressured for anything. Even my air filter (which they ALWAYS recommend that you change)- the guy told me "I could change it for you, but the one that you have is perfectly fine!". That sort of honesty is refreshing. So there you go. It's a chain of establishments, but any time that you get your oil changed at one of these places, you know that they're going to do it right and you won't have to wait all day for it.
