  • Just ordered a custom cake for my husband and it was $32 for a 6 inch cake! I would not mind paying this amount if it was an amazing cake; however, it was no better (possibly worse) than a cake I could have picked up from any grocery store. Kelly recommended the chocolate with buttercream frosting so I went with that. The cake itself was not very moist and tasted like a mix. The frosting tasted like shortening and granulated sugar and had a very grainy texture. We ate some with our son and daughter-in-law and actually threw the remainder into the trash can. It was not very good and I would never order a cake here again. Quite frankly, Costco's chocolate cake puts this cake to shame.
