  • We love SCAH!! They were very kind and compassionate when we had to put our cat, Mittens, to sleep. We have two new kittens now and they have been great. Recently, our Marco broke his jaw (we still don't know exactly how...) and they had a chance to get money out of us for an optional surgery. Dr. Knehr recommended the conservative route of no surgery, and we agreed. He could've told us it was necessary, but he didn't. They always have same-day appointments and are open from 6am until 8pm most days. Sundays are basically walk ins for emergencies and it's fabulous that they're so available. I read these other reviews about hidden charges, etc.... They've always been up front with estimates. If you're unsure, shame on you for not asking for a written estimate. Ours have broken down every drug and procedure-very detailed. We highly recommend SCAH!!
