  • By far the most beautiful carpet showroom in the city and possibly in western Canada, Indo-Designer is the place to go. Although most of their rugs are of Indian origin, some of the nicest rugs in town are to be found here. They have so much stock and room to display their carpets that at your leizure you can check the merchandise out over the course of weeks and months until you make a decision for your home. Some lovely runners, small and large carpets are here, from $400 - $15,000. Downstairs there are always some fine discounted rugs as well, and on both floors much Indian furniture that may complement your carpet choice. Oh yes, the many styles of rugs here are clearly described, and what the labels don't reveal, seasoned salesperson Michael can finish for you. Bring your appreciation for arts & crafts with you?
