  • Usually one of my favorite spots to spend the afternoon in Toronto, this tiny coffee shop offers a very cozy atmosphere filled with small talks and relaxing music. However, my experience varies depending on the Baristas. I usually order their lattes (matcha green is a favorite), iced Americano and iced tea (wild berry + honey). And being an avid second cup fan, I go to quite a few different locations several times a week. Today's experience, however, wasn't particularly a lovely one since one of the Baristas told me that the next time I want some honey, to tell it to her beforehand. (This is the third time something like this has happened with the same employee - the rest are fine) Ive been going here the last four years, and she has been here longer than that I'm assuming, however, bossing the customer around when you don't even know their preference doesn't really suit me. Every other second cup isn't really quite stingy with honey/whipped cream - guess its just that one particular lady. However, the overall cafe is really nice (it's adjacent to the strip mall/plaza). Very convenient because of the Scotia Bank and pharmacy. There's also a supermarket and Humbertown jewellers (ya know, if you're rich enough). PS: not a place to go to if you want to use your laptop. Though it is a great place to read and write and so some light studying.
