  • After having a disastrous experience with a major eyeglasses retailer (Lenscrafters), I've turned to this optical for my new pair of glasses. The staff are friendly and knowledgeable about eyewear, and you can tell they wanted to provide genuine service to find what suits your needs and preference, not trying to con you like the above mentioned major retailer. Where as Lenscrafters told me that "my vision is terrible" and that if I don't get the 1.74 lenses (thinnest on the market), my glasses are going to be as thick as beer bottles, Optic Creations staff advised me that my prescription wasn't strong enough for 1.67 and 1.74 to make much of a difference in thickness, so I might as well save some money and get the 1.67. It's so nice to find a store that does business with integrity! They even upgraded my lens with a special coating for easy clean free of charge, which was kept a secret from me until the last minute when I went to pick them up. Regardless to say the 1.67 lenses from Optic Creations are as expected in terms of thinness, and costed only $150, where as the LensCrafters 1.74 lenses ($705) were thicker than my 1.55 lenses that I got for $30. Isn't that funny. For the selection of frames, Optic Creations carries a wide selection of high end brands and their staff were able to pick out a perfect one to suit me (and I'm pretty picky). The staff I met were friendly, patient and have good taste :). Very satisfied with my purchase! Definitely recommend this Optical Creations over bigger retailers like LensCrafters any day.
