  • This is THE lunch spot! I'm sure dinner would cost an arm and a leg but if you are on a budget but want to have an excellent lunch - this is your place! They have a prix fix lunch menu that offers you (1) appetizer - got the scallops; (1) entree - got the mediterranean bass; and (1) dessert - got the walnut cake for $20.11. Apparently, they change up the menu on a regular basis. I guess they want their guests to keep on coming back for more. I think it's really smart of them to do this prix fix menu and to always change it up because you can (eventually) sample everything on their menu!! Let's get down to the nittty-gritty :) Scallops - It was seared lightly, the middle was still soft - perfectly cooked. It was drizzled with their olive oil, placed on top of finely sliced (julienne??) onions. It tasted just the way it was served: light and fresh. Scallop was fresh alright! Wish I had more than (2) pieces but then it would be a meal, especially for lunch! Mediterranean Bass - Loved the presentation. It was de-boned with the exception of collar bone and a few strays but what made me excited was the fact that the head was included! A lot of people may be creeped out by it but I think it was great presentation - kinda makes you feel "primal" if you will. The fish was steamed (it appeared) and drizzled with olive oil, capers, sea salt and a slice of lemon. It tasted very buttery and the flesh was soft/flaky. It didnt come with any sides but then again, you have a 3-course lunch. Walnut Cake: I didnt really care for it because I'm not a walnut fan but the cake was very moist. Overall, they know their seafood here. They know how to cook them (with a very light hand). Good job Milo's!!
