| - It's a Second Cup. It's in the Empress Walks complex. It has quite a lot of table space. No real surprises. Like I say, it's a Second Cup. An extra star for:
1) They brew a flavor at night. I find a lot of Second Cups pull their more interesting flavored coffees by late afternoon or have just stopped brewing them altogether.
2) While seating is tight Sundays and Saturday nights, I can actually get a seat most week nights. This is a problem everywhere in North York. York and Seneca students plant it, one student, one table, one laptop, and they don't move for 3 hours.
3) Summer they have a nice patio. It seems to back on a park where young mountebanks, malefactors, and reprobates like to "chill" after "skool". So always a great early evening floor show. (Although the guy who started to threaten to "shank" patio patrons if they didn't give up a cigarette made me think some of the performers more experimental theater was getting a bit too edgy for North York. Hey, that stuff might play in Leslieville, but North York is strictly Branson, Missouri.)
Staff seems generally polite and efficient. The washrooms could use some renovations, however.
