  • I had really high hopes after finding Jenny on Yelp and seeing all the great reviews, but my experience was very far from great. First of all, Jenny forgot at least twice we had set appointments and seemed shocked whenever I would show up, thankfully she was there when I did show up. I just brushed this off as she is busy and a little scatter-brained but as long as she did good work this was the least of my concerns. My second to last fitting I had asked she just call me when she was done with my dress so I could make an appointment for the final fitting. A little less than 2 weeks to my wedding I called since I had not heard back - she then told me that it was already done but I never showed up, trying to immediately pin this on me. I make an appointment for that Saturday, ONE week before my wedding. I try on my dress and it looks terrible. The champagne color underlayment of the dress kept popping out with every small movement I made and it was HUGE on top (it was a strapless dress). She tried telling me it was my fault and that I had lost weight, which all of us brides know darn well where our weight is at all times especially getting closer to the big day, and if anything I had put on 3 pounds since my last fitting. There were pins and a safety pin still in the dress, the layers she had removed from the skirt made it feel odd-feeling - every time I pointed something out she said I looked beautiful and made it sound like it was all in my head. She then wanted to charge me a third of what I had already paid to tighten the top. Thank goodness I left and found another seamstress who had my dress ready and flawlessly in FOUR days, she showed me the underlayment she had to cut off - almost TWO inches off, the top was large because Jenny had not properly sewn the cups at the right place. If you don't want to deal with the stress of how disorganized she is, poor workmanship and not exactly cheap prices, go elsewhere.
