| - Worst coffee shop I've ever been to in my life, and I didn't even buy anything.
First time going to Unionville so my girlfriend and I decided to try it out. Been to many other Timothy's before and have had many positive experiences at other locations. My girlfriend was ordering while I used the bathroom. Came back from the bathroom and my girlfriend received awful customer service and decided that she didn't want to get anything (man was rude, cakes were open in one fridge (food storage 101...all your cakes will taste the same bud), man waa distracted and on his handsfree phone, and the man didn't know a thing about coffee). So when I came back, like another review mentioned below, he demanded I buy something after using the bathroom. After my girlfriend told me about the terrible customer service I refused, and he started getting very mad. I told him I'm not buying anything after he's been rude to my girlfriend and especially considering the state of the bathroom (toilet seat was hanging on by one bolt, feces on the toilet seat, door handle was slimy, etc).
Rather than listening to my feedback, he raised his voice and demanded I leave immediately (I've never met a manager who doesn't appreciate customer insights and feedback).
Pretty sure he was the manager because he had a Bluetooth headset in (because he was that busy on a Sunday at 10am that he had to be connected, right?)
From a professional point of view, this guy just plainly sucked. Worst customer service. Awful cleanliness and food storage is laughable. From a personal point of view, this guy is a complete joke and an idiot. I've had better experiences getting coffee at a funeral coffee station than this guy's sorry excuse for a cafe. Go to the Starbucks across the street and save yourself the trouble. For descriptive informational purposes only, the guy I spoke to was brown skinned and wore a blue tooth in case you see him, be prepared to be let down. Clean your shop, clean up your attitude, and read a book on customer service.
