| - Will never buy another Interstate battery. Dropped RV Battery off about a month ago after having to charge it 4 times with my truck during a 2 day camping trip. Young man tested it and said it was 90%, I explained my dilemma to him over the phone regarding having to keep charging it. He told me that even though it checked out OK, his manager said it was OK to swap it out. Cool, I told him it would be several weeks since I was having surgery on my foot. Fast forward to today. Went to pick up the battery, middle aged blonde lady took my name, and took a young man with her to the back to get my battery. They bring out the battery and I told her it looked like this was a used battery. She said yes, it was my old battery. I explained that I was told I would be receiving a new battery. She proceeded to tell me that I was never told that. Now how did she know that. The guy I was dealing with wasn't even there? Then I said yes the gentleman that was testing my battery said he approved it with the mgr. She said, he said he never told me that? Well, I kinda lost my cool and told her he was lying. Took my battery and left. It wasn't just what she said, it was how she said it. Funny thing is, I was actually OK with taking my old battery back since it tested OK. However, she indirectly told me twice that I was lying. Not cool. All she had to explain to me that he made a mistake and they wouldn't swap it out. Our family has multiple cars, 3 kids driving, & lots of friends. I will be sure to pass my discontent with Interstate.
