Probably the most fancy and most definitely extra restaurant I've been to in Montreal. The service here is not like any other fine dining restaurant.
We first heard about this restaurant from friends who came here to try the dessert. The cotton candy tree dessert (called "passport to something") is the reason we came; but the amazing appetizers and service was why we stayed.
Right after taking our order, a wonderful array of appetizers was presented to us, each in a unique and memorable way. For example, the tartar was delivered to us in a book filled with smoke, while the cheesesticks were delivered to us as cuban cigars. Each dish was beautifully made and incredibly delicious. Paired with a great wine and cheese selection, Europea soon became one of my favourite places to go to celebrate a special occasion. When my friend left Montreal, she even said that she would come back here one day, just for dinner one more time!
