  • Went on Sunday to get the whole package; a haircut and a Royal Shave. I'll preface this by saying it was pretty pricey for the whole package, over $100. Mostly in part due to the shave. The experience however, made it all worth it. I don't normally keep a beard, but I had been growing one for the past few months and decided to shave. After the haircut, you get the shave, and it is a process, but it's very in depth, relaxing, and it gives you that feeling of living the good life. The haircut is really where I'm on the fence. Although a bad run in with a previous barber unfamiliar with my hair on a work trip left my crown pretty shoddy, my barber, Mignon did good work with what hair I had. Arguably the second best haircut I've ever had, and a picture of the best, she did a very good job. Give it one or two more visits and I'm sure she'll get it dialed in. I probably won't get the shave again to save some money, and because I normally stay clean shaven, but if there ever is a time I grow out my beard, I'd get the whole package again simply because it's such a relaxing experience.
