| - Solid ice cream joint.
Spotted this a few weeks ago after dinner at the fantastic TexAZ across the street. Figure it would warrant an evening ride to check it out. Did not disappoint.
My girlfriend ordered some sort of amazing sundae. Lots of pralines, chocolate and a banana. REALLY good, and surprisingly not sickeningly sweet. The chocolate in a cone was good, too. The menu board is gigantic, almost too big, but certainly having lots of things to choose from is a nice touch.
Service is as fast as it can be in a tiny place with a sizable line. Lots of hustle, and everything was clean. No stickiness anywhere. Prices are high, of course, but I enjoyed what I had, so I guess that's a wash. Free easily accessed ice water is nice, too.
Wish they had a few more tables outside, but space is tight where they are located.
Only gripe is the free-range, obnoxious kids and absentee parenting that is synonymous with a busy ice cream joint. Be prepared for loud, screaming kids flopping around inside and outside.
We will continue coming here whenever an ice cream adventure presents itself.
