  • I am very pleased with Dr. Joe and Chris. I decided to look for a new vet last year when another local vet was routinely recommendIng $1000-2000 in tests and procedures for each of my 3 animals every time I brought them in for a check up. When I would ask them why these things were needed, they responded with "it's routine". I did my research after the appointments, none of these things would be considered "routine". When I met Dr. Joe, I expressed my concern about the previous vet to him, and let him know that I am a good pet mom, but I do not want to have my pets undergoing unnecessary tests or procedures that only serve to empty my wallet and stress out my pets. He was very understanding of my concerns. Also, last time my dog had his teeth cleaned with the old vet, they shaved the whole front of his leg, which he proceeded to lick until it became infected. As a result, he spent almost the entire summer in the cone of shame. My dog had his teeth cleaned again by Dr. Joe yesterday, and it went extraordinarily well. He trimmed off the barest minimum of hair on my dog's front leg in order to administer the IV. Also, my dog cried very little after the procedure, unlike last time when he cried and whined loudly most of the night. I am very happy with this clinic.
