  • This place is a joke. I know several people that walked in and simply told them (without proof) that they had family in the Navy and were not only given accounts but they also received a $50 cash bonus. I'm not even sure if these friends were even telling the truth LOL but when I go in they request all kinds of paperwork on my father, who recently passed away, paperwork which is extremely time consuming and costly. And if I get that paperwork the bonus cash is off the table as well. Needless to say I went with a competitor. It still stings because I had heard many good things about Navy Federal and the credit union I went with has been unsatisfactory. PS - The older woman receptionist/greeter/front desk person is pretty rude and isn't the least bit helpful.
