  • We're visiting from So CAL and my niece recommended Bergies. I had a delicious iced tea. Don had a light roast Nicaraguan coffee. They had a choice of French press or a pour over. He went with the pour over. He watched the gal make it and was surprised that she didn't weigh the coffee or the water. It didn't produce the complexity he was looking for because of this and because she didn't let it bloom. Despite this, it was still a pretty good cup of coffee. I don't care much for coffee, but I liked it. It seemed to have some chocolate undertones. We enjoyed the lovely patio and the people were very nice. We'll be back next time we are in town visiting family.
