We stayed here for three nights, and the pool was closed for maintenance all but the first night. My six year old was incredibly disappointed as the pool had been the big draw of the vacation for him. The fire alarm also ended up going off for about twenty minutes on our last night at the hotel, another annoyance for everyone staying at the hotel. On top of that, there is never any compensation or anything to make up for the negative experiences except a shrug and
We also had some challenges with our room being cleaned as it often took an hour (and three hours on the 2nd day) for it to be done after requesting it. Items are often overlooked and not replaced (including towels and toiletries), and a bit of our shower was left pulled apart for two days. It just felt odd and less organized than other Residence Inns we've stayed at.
With that said, the room was spacious and we appreciated the walk in shower and equipped kitchen. I also appreciated having coffee available all the time (free afternoon treat!). The internet was a tiny bit slow but worked well enough that we could stream video. Residence Inns are usually good experiences, but this one was not.
