rev:text	I'm a foodie....hands down! Yes, I can be critical and discerning, but I like a great hot dog as well as a great steak.....so here we go. Thumbs up: server Ev (short for Evan.....a young woman) was patient, pleasant and very helpful. Prices were in line with a BBQ joint. Thumbs down: the food is mediocre so not sure where the high star reviews are coming from?? Perhaps, when you only have fast food to compare it to then this stuff seems like a night out on the town with the Mrs. Brisket lacked a defined smoke ring and flavor, pulled pork was bland, chicken dry and ribs were decent. All of the meats and rest of the food was salty. They have three sauces and only one was decent. The NC vinegar sauce and the mustard sauce were nasty. Sides were frozen crinkle cut french fries, small dry hush puppies, etc. The menu has too many off shoots from traditional BBQ, which should have been my first clue. Go to Little Miss BBQ in Phoenix, J Muellers or Franklins in Austin and you will see what real BBQ is. If you can't eat the meat without sauce and absolutely love it.....then it just sucks, plain and simple. Seems more like a bar than a real BBQ joint. Got sick from the food. Total waste of money taking a taxi to and from the airport during a layover for this!!! In fairness, I would say if you like bar food it is OK, but nothing special at all and certainly not worth a $40 round trip taxi fare. Keep it simple and to the basics. If you can't make great BBQ then shut it down....please do not throw stuff on the menu like tacos, bacon wrapped jalapenos, etc. All you are doing is trying to mask your sub par meats (which should be the highlight. QUALITY ALWAYS WINS!!!! And this ain't quality. It's BBQ Bar Food
