  • This place right here. I've been going to Zookz for probably close to three years--as long as I've been living nearby. I'm a regular, going once every week and a half or so. 90% of the time I order a #22. Most of them know me by name, and know I'm going to order a #22. I'm convinced this is the best sandwich in Arizona. I want them to name it after me. I'd have the best sandwich in the state named after me. It's perfect for breakfast, lunch, or brunch. Filling, crispy, but not too heavy. Cures a hangover too. It's magic. Every visitor I fly out to Phoenix, friends and family alike, I take to Zookz while they're here. Every time they're back in town they beg me to go back. Every single person I've brought here. I've even flown a #22 2000 miles across the country, just so my friend could have another one. It wasn't soggy either. Like I said, those things are magic. Conveniently located near the light rail too, on the Central corridor.
