  • I really don't even understand why the customer service in this store is inaccessible. And why are their prices way more expensive than Target or Home Depot? I've been to this location, the one and the one on steeles numerous times and I'll ask someone nearby very politely a questions and they look at me as if I'm disturbing their day and they don't want to help me. Every store in Toronto is like this, the people working there are rude and unhelpful and never smile, never ask if there is anything else they can help with. These people are awful. Here's the best, don't try to call one of their stores, you won't reach anyone. Never-mind that 2 of their stores have phone numbers that go to someone's desk, the other stores answer, transfer you to a department (let's say you're looking for paint) and then the department never answers the phone, be prepared to spend 30 minutes trying to get a hold of someone. I ended up in a store last week, and for fun figured I'd look at the prices of their shower heads to see if I got a better deal at Target, and guess what, the exact shower head that I bought 3 days ago was there, for $20 more than target. Target sold it for $30 and Canadian Tire for $50. Seems we are paying for their shitty service. The same went for the faucet I bought, they were $15 more expensive than Home Depot (their direct competitor). The list goes on, let's talk a food processor, Canadian tire was $17 more than Target. What is wrong with this place? Bad service. Rude people. More expensive for the exact same brands and products than Target or Home Depot? I used to want to support this business because it's Canadian, but forget it, why do I have to support rude Canadians?
