o.m.g. this was quite an experience. i need a bed. we already bought the mattress, which seems to have been a mistake. who knew platform king beds (that i like) would be so hard to find and when found, so expensive?! so i had to abandon upscale stores in search of a lower end knock off. i happened to pass howie world and decided i should stop in. i was pleasantly surprised by the inside. this wasn't the dingy, bargain basement-y place i was expecting. it seemed clean but disorganized - furniture was crammed in everywhere. paths to get through the store just ended without warning. the place was like a maze. the actual furniture gets 3.5 stars. most seemed like quality goods and there were some really nice looking things for sale - great sectionals and occasional tables. the marked prices were intimidating and seemed really high. it appears the salespeople are on commission with their tendency to hover. thankfully, the phone rang, hovering sales guy went to answer it and i walked out as fast as humanly possible. and no, they did not have a bed for me. the search continues.
