I'm going to start this review by stating the fact that I am a licensed cosmetologist. Not only do I know how to do nails, but I obviously know all the sanitation laws and procedures. I went in one August 1 and got a full set of pink and white nails with what was suppose to be Minnie Mouse bows on my ring fingers. The nail tech Phil had some interesting ways of applying the acrylic. No biggie as someone in the industry, you can always learn something new from someone else. Sadly it went downhill. When it came down to the drills Phil cut me as I had a feeling he would! I waited to see what he would do with the drills... And he did NOTHING! He put them back with all his other drills. I had to tell him to sanitize them and still he did nothing. Then a customer came in for a nail fix and he still did not sanitize the drills. I asked how often he sanitizes and I got ignored. Fast forward to August 6 I go swimming for 20 minutes and this is what happens to my nail art. These bows were painted on with acrylic paint that is used for wood. You buy it at Walmart for 99 cents. They put "gel" polish over it and charge you all the money. I've been getting my nails done for 15 years and I have never had my nails even start lifting after 6 days of getting a new set. A couple other things I have noticed they have these "Rockstar" nails. They charge so much for... You can go to Michaels buy the same glitter/ glitters (since they claim to mix their glitter) and pay $2. Have your nail tech put it on your nails and not pay as much as they are charging. Their menu of services they have online do not match the prices they give you when they are done with your so called service. This place is horrible! Yes it's a clean place.... But looks are deceiving. You cannot put lipstick on a pig! Not everyone is in the beauty industry and see through what is actually going on here or how unsanitary they really are. If you decide to gamble your health make sure their drills are clean. As for me.... I am calling the Nevada State Board of Cosmetology and the Health Department. The drills are a direct violation! And as for their policy of a week getting your nails fixed it is all bs! I called within the week timeframe. Made the appointment and they refused to fix my nails unless I pay for a full service. Pigs get fed.... Hogs get slaughtered! *They do not even rate a star, but since you have to give them one here you go Pink Nails.... Hope it shines bright for all the greediness your business has.
