One night, I wandered the streets in a state of what can only be described as "hangry." I was in a foul mood since my dinner plans fell through for the night. I stumbled across Du-Par's and they won me over with the promise of pie.
My corned beef sandwich wasn't fancy but it was good. I opted for a half sandwich so I could have a slice of pie later. The selection of pie is very good and has something for everyone. I had a slice of egg custard that was rich in flavor and firm in texture. I wasn't disappointed.
It's a great place to chill if you're tired of the bustle of Fremont. the old time feel of the place is comforting in so many ways. It's quiet enough to have a conversation but has a steady stream of customers. Things pick up more late night.
