  • PLEASE BE ADVISED THAT THIS BUSINESS IS A SCAM!!!! DO NOT GIVE THEM ONE DOLLAR! I filed a complaint with the AZ Attorney and with the AZ BBB. 3 TV On Your Side did an investigation as well. I paid Scottsdale Matchmakers $2500 with the promise of 7 viable matches. I got one match which was not a good match and that's it since July 7, 2014. When you ask for your money back they say too bad. They then cancel your membership because you complained about them screwing you out of a refund. Their office in Scottsdale is a front. There is nobody there unless you have an appt. for giving them your money. After doing more research I found that this same company has 11 "Alternate Business Names." There are over 85 complaints filed against this same company under various names. You can review the BBB's rating of F on the BBB's Eastern Massachusetts, Maine, Rhode island and Vermont site under the name "International Dating Ventures, Inc." You will see Scottsdale Matchmakers listed there as an alternate name. All the complaints are the same. You are scammed out of large amounts of money for their services and then they don't perform. They often just go out of business or dissolve the corporation to get out of all the complaints and possible lawsuits. The Client Services Manager's name is Kim McDonough. In her response to the attorney general she references West Coast Introductions, Inc. and Quality Singles. Her phone number of 781-982-4520 is located in MA and is closely linked to these numerous other scam businesses. This business is located at 80 Washington Street, Bldg, E11-12, Norwell, MA 02061. If you google that address you will find multiple dating and matchmaking services such as Elove, International Dating Ventures, The Right One, New Beginnings, etc.
