  • I love this place! I was visiting Montreal and looking for a quick place to eat close to where I was staying and this appeared on yelp with good ratings. I am Egyptian and rarely find any good Egyptian restaurants, if any, outside Egypt so I was obviously intrigued. I only tried the koshari and it was really good. The regular size was already so filling. What I especially like about the place is the whole atmosphere. It has the typical Egyptian wooden chairs, the tablecloths etc. It feels like an authentic Egyptian koshari place, not even the fancier ones that even opened in Egypt now. Everything feels so homey and Egyptian, even the way they serve the typical tea with mint.The owner is also very friendly.
