  • First, this location had my car in for a scheduled appointment, could not find my keys and NEVER CALLED to say "Hey, did you forget to give us your keys? Because we don't have them." By the time I called them for an update on my car they had found my keys but pushed my appointment back two days. Then, when I picked up my car two days later, the guy helping me gave me my keys and my bill and said nothing. Imagine my surprise later in the afternoon when I noticed "Hey, those inspection stickers still say this year." When I called, the guy on the phone said that the attendant should have told me that I had to drive 150 miles before I could get the stickers. Unfortunately due to circumstances, I live in another state and can't make my car legal here until it's legal in PA and had to wait until my next trip to town to get this fixed. A week or so later I noticed a small oil leak. I assumed it was that the filter or the plug wasn't tightened enough and delayed tightening it, as I don't own a floor jack. A neighbor today lent me a floor jack so I could tighten the plug/filter, at which point I had discovered that the plug had been tightened so hard by Pep Boys that the oil tank itself is cracked. YOU'RE DOIN' A REAL BANG UP JOB GUYS.
