  • Very nice location considering it's only a 2 minute drive from me and Square One (and no, I don't live in Square One!!) IMHO, I like Second Cup more than Starbucks because they are less pretentious. It's a mix of average income people and higher income, so if I go somewhat casual, I feel okay sitting there, whereas in Starbucks, I feel like I have to dress up a bit. So what's good about this place: Wifi, and their variety of basic coffee choices, you have 4 or 5, whereas Starbucks only has 3 and the 3 are vastly different depending if you like mild, medium and dark roast whereas Second Cup has different flavours. What I don't like: food...very bland and plain, but to be fair, I don't really like Starbucks food either. So decent morning coffee shop and good for a chat.
