  • I wanted to warn people who shop at Once Upon A Child on Ranch Santa Fe Blvd in Avondale. I was just there to buy cars for my grandson and found a cute talking truck. It had a price on it for $5.50 and he talked. Then I found another that was similar but did a lot more but price was $15.00. I decided on the $5.50 since he didn't need the other one. I brought it up to pay for it and the owner said it had the wrong price tag on it that it would be $15.50 like the other one and said that someone tried to change it. Then she tried to remove the tag and told me it was the same price as the other one even though they didn't do the same thing. One truck talked and drove and did tricks and the other just talked. I asked her if she was going to honor the price on there and she said no but she would take $10.00 instead. I told her even the big stores honor the price that is on the item but she wouldn't budge. So watch out what you are buying there and maybe what you are selling to them. I will never go back there.
