  • Been wanting to go here for years. Finally had my chance by taking my daughter for a birthday brunch on Monday. It is a lovely restaurant and the service was very good. The food presentation was very pretty and everything looked yummy. Sadly, in many cases, the presentation didn't match the taste. I would have thought that for the crazy amount of money I spent, I would have received hot food. The lobster bisque, about 3 bites, was served in tiny silver pails that were already prepared. The top had congealed and the soup was cold. The gnocchi was sitting in a pool of olive oil and was cold and gooey. The dim sum had been sitting for awhile and was chewy. The highlight was the sushi. Very fresh and cold, but only 2 varieties. I could have paid $20 at my favorite sushi bar and had more choices. And instead of a bottle of soy sauce, it came in packets which squirted all over the table when I tried to open one. We did enjoy the desserts. A very large variety all served in little 2 bite cups, which I thought was a terrific idea. I was able to try a variety instead of filling up on one. I recommend the tiramisu, chocolate mousse and crème brulee. It was good, but I wouldn't go back unless someone else is paying!
