  • Young Children Not Welcome Wanted to go to the Roy on Sun evening around 7 pm. Wife and I had a stroller with our 8 month old. We were immediately stopped at the door by staff who said "no strollers" allowed "you have to leave it outside". A fine welcome indeed. Being flexible, we said ok, but do you have a high chair for the baby? "No" was the answer. So you don't allow strollers, and you don't have high chairs. What am I to surmise from that? I think the Roy owners must be nuts...Leslieville is exploding with kids and these dorks are turning families away. Stupid business practice. So we took our 3 course dinner with wine a few doors away to Joy Bistro, where our family was welcomed. Roy, how do you like that? You just missed out on about $200 in business and all the future business we would bring (we live down the street) which you're not going to get because we are not coming back.
