  • Took my 2008 scion in for a bearing growling in the standard 4speed stick transmission. Most transmission shops wanted to sell me a rebuilt trans from a 3rd party co. or find a used one so basically the just want to pull one out and install another one. I spoke to Mike, the owner of Bacas, who told me they rebuild the entire trans right there. Sounded the right way to go. They pulled and split the trans. I went there and inspected the parts on the bench. They put all new bearings, sincros and seals In. OEM Toyota parts. Very happy with job. Shifts and drives like new. Price was fair. They have my future business.
