  • This place is outstanding. I visited my cousin in Phoenix and on the last day I was there we had lunch there. We were there just as they opened, and after about 15 -20 min of being there it was almost jam packed. After only trying the guacamole with pomegranate, yes, pomegranate seeds, I knew this place was gonna be killer. I ordered the Cochinito Torta (sp?), and it was phenomenal. So, juicy and tender, I would've like to order a second one, but it's quite filling. It also comes with spicy fries, which I was open to, but a little hesitant about them. The fries come with a house made ketchup that is the best ketchup I have ever had, without exaggeration. They were super good even when I ate them 2 hours later at the airport. If you ever make it to Phoenix and you have one meal to eat, eat at Barrio Cafe.
