  • I have no complaint about the service at Dignity Health St. Joseph's Hospital and Medical Center, however, they are really screwed up in their billing department. They claimed that I owed them over $200 despite that fact that I have Medicare and full coverage supplemental coverage and in 13 years have never had to pay anything out of my own pocket. I asked them to send me a statement for exactly what I owed and they send me a long invoice that I could not read. I told them that I needed specific detail so I could handle with my insurance carriers. Instead, they put me into collection and I now receive nasty letters, but still no details regarding the charges. They need to put themselves in the places of their patients. I always pay my bills, but never pay what I do not owe. I have complained, but it falls on deaf ears. Don't know what to do other than that. Does anyone have any ideas?
