  • I'm quite picky when it comes to Japanese food and Shimogamo has never disappointed. We've been going here for over 8 years and it's our go to for Japanese food. The sushi is always fresh and the cooked items are very good. They have the best shrimp tempura I have had in Arizona. Yoshi, the owner, is at the restaurant every night and is very personable. The service is very good. We would definitely recommend to anyone looking for good Japanese food.
