I am so glad I was dating a local when she introduced me to places that are "for locals". This was probably the chillest place we had been to at that point. Of course, there were video gambling machines as it is a staple in Las Vegas. It does not take away from the ambiance of the place. It had that upscale bar lounge look with the polished wood and classic bar in the middle of the room. TV's well situated.
We had a charcuterie plate, we both had the chicken fettuccine alfredo with extra garlic bread. Spinach artichoke dip was like dipping chips into addiction because once you had it you will have wished you ordered an extra one as your meal.
We played on the machines regularly so the drinks were basically "free". Yeah. But in seriousness the happy hours are awesome and you forget you're in a city that is designed to rob you at every turn.
